The Treo 700w

Better Windows from Palm

PodcastsPalm has unveiled the much-anticipated Windows-based Treo 700w, and it looks like a very impressive piece of work, says BW's Steve Wildstrom. The company took full advantage of its license to modify the Windows Mobile software -- hence producing the first Pocket PC whose stylus will almost never leave its storage slot. Now available from Verizon Wireless, Treo 700w should be offered by other carriers later in the year
