There was little new under the late-summer sun, as our latest best-seller list--reflecting August sales--demonstrates. Readers showed interest in sales, executive challenges, and Wall Street shenanigans, even as they continued to be engrossed in globalization and getting rich.

As summer draws towards an end, readers are looking at a wide range of offerings. New to the list are volumes on how the Internet is affecting markets and further wisdom on how to get rich. Meanwhile, 9 of the list's 15 titles have been on our list for over a year.
