Toshiba Rules the Roost


Toshiba rules the roost in notebook computers, with four models making the top 10. And while the fastest notebook models today are loaded with blazing-fast Intel Pentium M chips with speeds up to 2 gigahertz, the three top-selling models all use the low-cost Intel Celeron processor -- a chip that has been in production since 1998. The retail survey of the top 10 notebook computers does not include Dell, which does not sell through traditional stores.
